Leonard Nimoy, Actor, Director, and ‘Star Trek’ Icon, Dies at 83

Today, we have all suffered a great loss. We are all better for the entertainment Mr. Nimoy has added to this world. The amount of times I cried for Spock in Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn, even knowing he comes back in part 3, is nothing like the amount of loss I feel at the moment. Thank you Leonard for everything.

Kirk: “We are gathered here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. But it should be noted that this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new world; a world that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. He did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one, and we will not debate his profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of my friend, I can only say this: of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most… human.”

Mission Log 124

(null) This was the first time I didn’t have time to listen to Mission Log when it came out, and it was on one of my favorite episodes, Elementary, Dear Data. Great show guys, and only a few days to the next show.
